How were the winners chosen?

The entrants were put into an excel spreadsheet based on how many entries they bought. From there, the list was randomized using the RAND function and then was sorted from low to high. This was to ensure that we did not go straight down the list with one person having numbers 2-101, 102-202 etc. With the list now randomized, the row number was the number assigned to that person for the drawing. We then used the random number generator software to generate 35 random integers between 2 and 18971. Starting at 2 to exclude the headers and 18,971 was the last row based on how many entries were purchased. Once those numbers were generated we went down the list of prizes with the last 2 numbers being the grand prizes. We had 3 witnesses to the drawing – one board member, one staff member, and an outside party not associated with the organization.

In addition, all of these controls were approved by the Nevada Gaming Control Board before the raffle event. The technologies were approved and the method for pulling the names was approved. We would not be able to host this raffle without having the proper measures in place. We also took a video and multiple screenshots for the Nevada Gaming Control Board if they were to come to us for proof of the drawing and any discrepancies. We do not share the video with the public due to the personal information of the participants being in the video.
